Reassuring expertise and a personal approach
Gavin is an experienced fertility specialist, obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in IVF and general gynaecology. He has spent many years in private practice in specialist IVF clinics, carrying out a full range of assisted reproduction services including IUI, IVF and ICSI.
He helps many patients with difficult conditions and complex treatments, including menstrual irregularities, laparoscopic surgery, menopause, colposcopy and reproductive endocrinology.
Gavin originally studied medicine at St Marys Hospital in London, working in obstetrics and gynaecology with many leading London teaching hospitals. He was awarded membership of the Royal College in 1997, and then spent 18 months as a Reproductive Fellow at IVF South in Sydney, a founding clinic of IVF Australia.
When he returned to the UK he ran a specialist menopause and endocrinology clinic, led the colposcopy service, and solved major gynaecological problems for his patients.
In 2009, he moved back to Australia as Director of Womens’ Services in Gosford Hospital NSW. He received his FRANZCOG in 2010. Gavin now consults across IVFAustralia's network of clinics Sydney CBD, Kogarah, Miranda and Gosford for patient convenience.
