Dr Emma Tetstall is a Fertility Specialist, Obstetrician, and Gynaecologist who has established a busy practice in the Illawarra region. She has a focus on end to end reproductive health for women from fertility treatments through to obstetric care and has additional qualifications for the management of high risk obstetrics, ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. She holds a Staff Specialist appointment at Wollongong Public Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital, and has a private Obstetric’s practice, with a VMO appointment at Wollongong Private Hospital.
Dr Tetstall completed most of her specialist training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, where she worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 9 years.
Dr Tetstall has furthered her experience and qualifications in fertility medicine and ultrasound diagnosis. She holds a Master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine. She has completed an Ultrasound Fellowship, and has a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
Dr Tetstall is committed to education and research. She currently facilitates the Obstetric and Gynaecology teaching program at Wollongong Hospital. She is also a lecturer for medical students at the University of Wollongong.
Dr Tetstall believes strongly in open communication and a holistic approach to all aspects of women’s health. She is happy to discuss all fertility treatment options and future birth plans, to make collaborative decisions about your reproductive health.
In her spare time, Dr Tetstall is busy with her young family.
